First of all , is this a Commercial Cooker, or a Range or a table top Electric Frying pan. Except for the Pan, it will take a 220v outlet, most homes have one for the Range- a few won't if the house is designed for Gas. In that case you will need to run a 220v line to the location you choose- Examine the Plug on the Appliance and match it up with a new plug.

Your question suggest you are not qualified to run a Range circuit and outlet.

lower than present day regulations in this united states (GB) you aren't any further meant to in elementary words plug an electric powered oven immediately right into a classic switched 3-pin socket outlet. There should be a double-pole keeping apart change in an accessible position, feeding a connecting container behind the cooker. I recommend you contact an electrician if in any doubt.

Brian: I think I agree with Bill---from the sound of your question you don't have any business messing around with 220.

Don't feel bad---I don't have any business messing around with it either. I limit my electrical stuff to rewiring lamps and switches.

I think I'd outsource this job.
