Hi, I am wanting to convert a portion of my steel shed into a living space. The upstairs area will be 20' X 32' which will be for two bedrooms. I am trying to build it myself in order to save money. Can anyone advise me how to go about putting in a second floor and what supports I need?

Recently I purchased and moved into a 1982 mobile home. Both bathrooms and possibly the dishwasher are on the same 15 amp (I believe that is correct) breaker.

One day when beginning to work on the mobile home my father was flipping the light switch(s) in the 1/2 bath to see what they went too that's when it tripped the breaker. (1 switch to light fixture and 1 to recessed fan in the ceiling)

We checked the breaker and it seemed as though it was bad (spongy wouldn't stay on). We replaced it and still no electricity, but breaker doesn't trip now.

The breaker box says GFI bath on the panel but I do not know if it is still GFI and have found no reset.

I have since discovered the hallway outlet and the outside outlet (on opposite sides of the wall from one another) do not work either.

I have replaced all light fixtures in both bathrooms and checked all junction boxes that I can see for loose or burnt wiring, and found the outside outlet rusted.

Thank you in advance

I am wanting to purchase a used pool table and it is very heavy but taking it apart will cost alot of money. I thought if it could be taken off the base and hauled that way it would save me alot of money but I didn't know if the slate would collaspe if it was turned on its side. I could sure use the help ASAP because I only have a couple of days to get it. Thanks Brenda

Have a 2-horse stable w/concrete floor & open side window. Need to VERY economically convert to an art studio-how to do the inside walls & ceiling & cover the window & entry to keep critters out. Roofing tar paper rolls? Insulation? What about the window & door? Looking for least expensive but best solution. Live in So.California in high desert. Women doing job by ourselves. Thanks!!

Does anyone have any ideas of how to get this tap off ? I've tried copious anounts of WD40 to no avail. The bath is adjacent to the toilet - so I just can't get any leverage on it.

I cut the ends of the cable to expose the wire like they say to do. I have the light lined up in series. (Lite-Lite-Lite-Trans). Now how do I connect it to the transformer?

I am talking about external, non-functioning types. I want to know how to measure my windows, how to choose among the different styles and materials, how to install, how to maintain. I am looking to be pointed to on-line references, hopefully one basic tutorial.

The house was abandoned and there is signifigant water damage to the floors that make it impossible to refinish the floors. The amount of cupping is so bad a floor refinisher we had out to look at the floors said he would just replace it completely. That isn't in our budget right now, so we are considering painting the floor until we can afford to replace it. Any ideas on how to do it? Thanks for your help! :-)
