set it in front of your house with a big sign stating it's for sale and how much.
you can also post it on craigslist for free. just go to the website and find your city. www.craigslist.org

Bring it to a consignment shop, they can sell it, but they keep part of the money.
You could list it in your newspaper, but that will cost like $10 (however, my friend just sold like a house full of furniture this way).
Take a picture of it and print out flyers, many supermarkets have places to hang such things.
Word of mouth, just start telling people that you work with, friends, etc. Someone is bound to need a bedroom set.

In my area we have several free websites where you can list things to sell for free. One is called 4sale.com with the city name in front of it. Maybe you have something like that there. I recently sold two beds within a day like this. Worked like a charm for me. You can also try http://www.craigslist.org/about/cities.html
