I use Dial soap and when the bar gets too small to use I start a new bar. When finished I press the two wet bars together and let them dry. Then the next time I shower I just have to be a little gentle with the bar the first time but is okay after that. Hardly any work and no soap lost.

Well, this isn't really how to make another bar of soap, but it is a cool way to use the leftover pieces or even those little soaps that the hotels give out. My grandmother used to do this all the time...
Take a women's knee high-- you know, the panty hose that only goes up to the knee. Put a bunch of little soap scraps or small soaps inside and kind of push them down to the bottom. Then, tie it up tight, and you've got a kind of scrubby thing with the soap already in it. You can get it wet and use it in the shower like a soap sponge.
Hope you like this idea!

From About.com:
"Save enough to make a fresh bar of soap. Cover your sliver stash with water and let it set until it's very soft, then smooth it in a blender or food processor (or use a fork or potato masher). Put it into an oiled mold and let it set until it's dry enough to use. A mold can be anything - jar lid, tuna or cat food can, small cup or whatever you come up with. Be sure to oil it well so that the soap releases easily. "
The link below has other interesting things to do with those left over pieces as well. Have fun!!

I throw it away if it have been as much as me. My better half does not go with to throw it out so he only presses it onto the recent bar of cleansing soap. it variety of feels to stick ok so he not at all wastes any of his cleansing soap. of direction i take advantage of Dove which he won't be ready to stand so my little slivers of cleansing soap circulate bye bye. We in basic terms use bar cleansing soap interior the bathe for hand washing it incredibly is liquid cleansing soap because it does not gunk up around the sink.

I think those bath shop style places have a thing called a soap press. You put the chips in and turn the handle and shazam, a new bar of soap

wet them down (warm water works best) and then mash them together.
You can also put them in a mold and microwave them.
