I want to learn about woodworking, etc. I want to build things, from little boxes to a kitchen table, or even a house! But, of course I want to start small. Is there a book, instructional dvd that is best? OR should I just be an apprentice somewhere (Which I dont have time for) Any equipment you recommend? I'd really appreciate your answers!

I'm building a shed with pressure treated flooring. I was told that I could not place kiln dried framing on the pressured treated floor because it would rot the wood.

How much would 120ft of 4in pvc pipe cost? It doesn't matter how big the sections are just whatever the cheapest way to get that much pipe is.

I am refinishing my kitchen cabinets. I'm not sure if I will paint or re-stain them. However, I need to degrease them first and was wondering what product works well for this.
Thanks for your suggestions.

Hi. The water dispenser in my KitchenAid Superba refrigerator is not working. It was slowing down for a long time...you'd have to hold the glass there for several seconds before the water would come out. The time got longer and longer until water just stopped coming out altogether. I changed the in-line filter a few weeks ago, and that worked to fix it for about 3 days. Then it started taking longer again, and now it doesn't work anymore again. The ice maker still seems to work, although I don't use too much ice, so I'm not positive about this. I have a feeling that there are mineral deposits in the line somewhere, but I don't know how to get it out. I'd love some suggestions, other than to call a repairman. I will if it comes to that, but I already know that a repairman could fix it. I wouldn't have asked if I thought that was the only answer. Thanks!

I am drilling holes into my front porch in place 3/8" anchors for some pressure treated 2x4's for my front porch deck-porch. I am having a duce of a a time getting these holes drilled - I am doing them dry and have burned 2 drill bits black! Should I use a steady stream of hose water into the hole area while I drill?

Actually it is my kitchen tile. The backsplash. I can't stand it, but don't want to rip it out. Figure we will do a complete remodel in the next few years. So anybody know how to get the paint to stick? I said bathroom tile because that is more identified with the shiny type tile I am dealing with.
