My fiance and I just bought our house and we don't have tons of cash to spend on a king size bed frame. And we're both kinda having a creative block, so nothing we draw that would be cheap looks good. Any ideas would be freakin' great.

I'm seriously considering building a rather authentic backyard bar-B-Que pit/Smoker. I obviously want the best tasting Bar-B-Que that can be slow cooked for 8 - 12 hours. Does anyone have any suggestions on design, materials, construction, etc.? I'm working with a 10' X 10' area

Looking to keep costs under $2K

Could someone explain to me how to use a multimeter to check if a wire is live? It is for a house, so I am assuming its 120volts. I'm installing a ceiling fan and the wiring in the room is kind of weird. I don't want to just assume its off because I flipped the breaker in that room. (P.S. I don't want to flip the main breaker because I have some vital electrical devices running in the house). http://cgi.ebay.com/COMMERCIAL-ELECTRIC-MULTIMETER-HDM350-NEW-LEADS-MANUAL_W0QQitemZ180004507617QQihZ008QQcategoryZ25412QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting <~~~~Picture of Multimeter I am using

Thanks!

Have seen advertisements for ductless air that uses only small holes for plaster walls. Was wondering if this has to be done by a pro or can my unwilling husband do this? We have a walk up attic for space. LOL

I'm thinking about replacing my outdated oven and dishwasher. My fridge is a newer white, side-by-side. Should I get white dishwasher and oven to match the fridge (for "staging") or stainless steel ones to cater to the contemporary trend? (I'm willing to throw in the fridge if the buyer wants it)

I have a timer system which requires me to attach wires (black, white, red) to areas on it. There is another wire with no plastic coating (bare wire). I belive this wire is the ground wire? Must i wrap this wire around a screw of the chasis that holds up the timer system against the wall? If i do then wouldnt it be in contact with the metal chasis casing and be dangerous if i touched it with my hand?

Thanks

my trailer is white. I have a pic of it in my yahoo 360 photo album. I wanna remove it so it looks more like a house, and less of a trailer. Any one ever remove their trailer hitches. I know it can be done. Some of my trailer park neighbors took theirs off. They don't like me, so i don't wanna ask them though.
