The seats are square and the cushions are fastened on top of plywood - I can remove the entire piece to work on it.

Unscrew the wood from the cushion. Remove the staples holding the old covering in place. When you have the old covering off, split the seams and flatten the pieces. You will use these as your pattern. lay them out in an area 36"x54" (basic width of vinyl fabric is 54") if they exceed the 36" length figure out by feet how much more. This will determine the amt. of you need. ie: 36"=1yd+feet 1/3,2/3. Good to buy more for error or repair. Trace outline of old covering onto back of new. Cut out Sew if necessary, staple it back on, reattach wood. There you go!!!
