I have a faux leather purse that stinks like smoke. Are there any "home remedies" to get rid of the smell? I think someone bought this purse and then returned it to the store smelling horrible.

And how do you wash them? Can they go in the washer? Or do you just throw them out when they get too old?

My mother has collected clutter in my house since as long as i remember. The garage is filled to the ceiling, her bedroom has a pile, the dining room, various objects on the patio and throughout the house there are piles of clutter. The more than half of the stuff she has is completely usless and would not be useful to anybody. Whenever you ask her about a specific item she will reply with "i could use that one day" or "im going to fix that up" or "thats not garbage, somone could use that". I saw her open her email up one day, it had over 10,000 messages, i said why dont you delete that? she said she is going to go through it one day. my sister and i occasionaly throw a box away, but the trash is overwhelming and somthing needs to get done, she is going to end up dying with all this s***. Whenever i try to talk to her about it she just gets super stressed out and pissed off and just avoids the situation by walking away. She is completely helpless. HELP ME!

My little sister went on a graffiti spree with her 2 friends yesterday. Bubble bath was ground into the carpet and all the walls are scribbled on with marker.
We tried soap and water but the stains are very stubborn.

HOW CAN WE MAKE OUR HOME CLEAN AGAIN?!

I just moved to a new apartment and tried to use the oven and it was smoking really bad. I was just trying to pre-heat it and my kitchen filled with smoke! The oven is really dirty and needs to be cleaned, but it's a self cleaning oven with a broken self cleaning feature. I was told never to manually clean a self cleaning oven. I have two little kids and need an oven!!! What should I do???

I had a demonstration once and the Kirby vacumm did seem to be sucking the dirt up from not only the rugs but also under the floorboards! I was amazed to say the least. But I'd like to know what the owners of them think. Tell me all about the good and bad sides of this vacuum. Thanks :)

My dryer is taking 2-4 cycles (timed dry 70 minutes, or 6-7 regular dry cycles) to dry a regular load of laundry, 2 cycles to dry a small load. not only is that costing a lot for electricity, but my clothes often don't smell so good since it stays damp for so long. What parts do i need or am i going to have to replace it?

Do you use it WITH detergent or does it have to be used alone? Does it work as detergent or does it only soften clothes?
