vacuum it up, and any remainder can be removed by using a piece of tape to pick it up...it will stick to the tape

I agree with everyone else a vacuum cleaner is the best way. However if you don't want or can't use one then a broom and dust pan are a good alternative. Though you may be finding glitter hiding in July.
