Last night I burned something on the stove and my entire apartment filled with smoke (yes I'm retarded, haha). I have been leaving the windows open but I live in Idaho and it is FREEZING outside so I can't leave them open for very long. How can I get this disgusting burn smell out of my apartment??? Please help me!!

There is this air neutralizing spray that you can get. Try that. I did that a couple of summers ago and it took days to get the smell out, my bedroom windows are the only ones that can open at my place. I did not think about the air neutralizing sprays then, but I had a teenage nephew staying with me for a while, and that is when I did the air neutralizer thing- I used it in his bedroom and it made a huge difference.

Get a flameless candle system like Scentsy or glade has a flameless candle that you can buy too. Then you can leave it going when you aren't home. Get like a baked goods scent so that is the scent in your home.

The only thing I would suggest is to open all the windows regardless of the weather it needs fresh air in there, and also to spray febreeze all over the place. Maybe about an hour at the most. Just turn off the heat and leave for an hour. It will be much better I promise!

The person who said coffee kinda hit on what I would do. Go buy some in-air odor neutralizer, spray that all over first. Buy a couple of Glad Candles and light those and then perhaps either a roll of cookies or bread. Bake that and make coffee and hopefully the smell of that and the coffee will take over after the odor neutralizer has worked it's magic. The fan in the window sounds pretty good too...because it is blowing out.

Hahahaha, my boyfriend did the same thing at our place the other night, although it wasn't too bad thank goodness.. We left the windows open to air it out for a while, then I lit scented candles that night as well as the next day to help get rid of the smell. You may also want to try spraying Febreze on the carpet and furniture. Turn any fans in your house on as well.

numerous solid innovations. i grew to become into in the same subject in college. I continuously stored my room door closed, had the window open, and altered my outfits before leaving my house if i might been out interior the residing room. I lit a gaggle of candles for all time too. I could desire to've had a fan and a few thing that neutralized the air (lysol works incredibly lots. i offered some off style stuff as quickly as and have not been inspired)- no longer basically coated it up- as you already know those smells blended mutually only are not so great.

If you have and odor then you must have smoke setting on all surfaces. Clean clean clean . This should get rid of odor . If you were cooking a meat . You will have a clear grease on all items. a hard odor to remove. Everything must be cleaned and any paper items may need to be thrown out .You are not retarded over 50,000 people work in Fire clean-up everyday cleaning up after kitchen fire

I suggest that you get some really good expensive candles, of course that smell good and burn them. Candles do wonders, Im telling you. Get at least 4 or 5 and that should do the job.

Try putting some herbs or spices in a pot of water and slowly simmering it for several hours. that will help produce a pleasant smell in the home. Like boiling some cinnamon.
