We thought the problem was the pump, so we ordered a new one. Turns out, the plug on the end of the wire is still in the pump; it looks like the wire either broke or burned off right at the cap. Is this something we can fix ourselves? Heck, is it fixable at all??

I'm trying to attach an iron on number to my hockey jersey. It was previously applied, but I washed it and it started to come off. It seems like there is still some of the glue, or whatever causes the number to adhere to the jersey, on the back of it where it came off. What temperature setting on the iron should I use? Any other tips?

I am not gay, but now Grandpa thinks I am due to my choice of soaps, he uses Lava for handwashing, bathing, and washing his hair. He says no real man would use a soap like mine. Please help me convince him otherwise.

My carpet is 8 yrs old. Its dirty, I already hired some professional carpet cleaners but the dirty color is still there. It was a Cream color before, now its like brown-ish or something like that. Any suggestions? I do not want to buy new carpet, I dont have the money for that right now.

This may sound odd but I've never gotten clothes dry cleaned before and I am about to. Should I give the dry cleaners any special instructions? starch level, etc. I guess i'm just scared they will ruin very expensive shirts somehow.
