That really depends on how much money you are able, and willing to spend on a vacuum.
I have a Kirby, which is quite expensive, but I'm a germaphobe, and a sucker for gadgets. The Kirby is able to vacuum, shampoo, sand wood, spray the yard, etc.
If you are looking for a general vacuum, that cleans well, and isn't overpriced, then go with a Eureka. They have several models, and you should be able to find the one best for you.
There is only one vacuum I have to say "do not buy", and that is the Orick. The Orick is the loudest vacuum I have ever heard!
Hope this helps.
Happy Holidays!

A cats listening to is 10 circumstances more beneficial then people, so what you imagine is somewhat loud is KILLER loud for your cat, so that's the Noise my cat hates my vacum purifier he runs and hides in the back of even if he can, that's the noise, seem at it with the help of your cats ability, *It bypass decrease to and fro and each and each which way *that's totally very VERY loud *that's plenty larger than you *it has lighting fixtures fixtures on the bottom that seem as if their glaring at you ( that's once you've a vacum purifier that has lighting fixtures fixtures) *It sucks up all of your very such issues as your very dirt on the floor etc *It makes your human bypass the furnishings (Which in a cats attitude is their furnishings) *It makes scary crakling sounds at the same time as it sucks up issues *and your cat would not understand your controling it, he or she thinks that's alive desire I helped! God bless and characteristic a fine looking day!

What do you need to do? If you want to clean, shampoo, and humidify/ deodorize use the Rainbow, Clean and shampoo only - Kirby, standard vacuuming any product will do. Test a few-check consumer reports and find the right tool for the jobs you need done. Good Luck!

Dyson upright with a ball foot. If you want something that is easy and cleans well this is great. It is expensive but I've never had one that works as well. This also has a pet head and a hepta filter so if you have any pets its also great.
