Yes, clean the oven racks by hand. If you leave them in the oven while auto-cleaning the immense heat while warp & discolor the racks.

yes- everything should be out of your oven. Wipe down with a wet cloth after oven cools.

Yes, if you dont they will tarnish a bit and be harder to slide in and out.
