My house is infested with little knats. In every room. all 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, utility room, kitchen, living room, even the closets. Every room you walk in, you can see little knats flying. I have tried vinegar, bleach. I have cleaned out closets, rewashed every dish in the house, dusted every inch. My house smells of vinegar and bleach, yet they are still here. Why are they here and how can I get rid of them?? There is no spoiled food in the house, no fruit sitting around, no dirty dishes........what are they attracted to???? HELP please.......

Me and my bf were going to get someone in professionally to clean the carpets all over our house including the 'lovely' cream one on the stairs but we have also been thinking of buying our own steam cleaner. we have seen a vax steam cleaner Model number V-082 and we are looking to buy this but first we would like to know if anyone has this or knows about this or could recommend another steam cleaner that is approx around the £100 mark.

I have a knit hat that is made out of some kind of artificial yarn (polyester, or whatever they make that stuff out of). I pulled it out of the closet yesterday and it's dusty. I'd like to wash it, but I've never washed it before. It has a lot of sentimental value, so I don't want to destroy it. How careful should I be in washing this hat? Will handwashing in Woolite be okay? (I plan to wash some other items in Woolite anyway.)

Is powdered or liquid dishwasher detergent better for the good functioning and maintenance of a dishwasher? Specific brands of dishwashers or not? If I use one or the other for the good of my dishwasher, will I have to sacrifice clean dishes? Does one or the other clean dishes better?

I have a brown leather messenger bag that is, I think, staining the upper part of my pants (looks black and dirty) that connects with the bag.

The bag isn't muddy or dusty, so I'm not sure what the stain is. Is it possibly something in the leather (oil) is causing the stain, and please tell me what I should do about it? Scotch Guard's leather stuff or some other proctectant? Just try to clean it myself? Professional cleaning?

Please help! Thanks so much!

I was waxing my legs and accidentally spilled hot wax all over the bathroom counter. It covers an area about the size of the palm of my hand. It is hard on the surface but soft and pliable underneath. How can I remove it?

Help! We have worms/moths eating our clothes. I don't know where they came from. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of them? I have even found them in the dresser drawers as well as the closet. It bothers me because my house is clean. I have even seen them on the carpet!

My daughter's room is a wreck! If you have any tips on organizing it, or you know of any website that can give me more ideas, please tell me! (It would help if you would give me some ideas, too.) For one thing, her closet is a wreck, and she has big piles of clutter under her bed and in the corners of her room. I need help organizing. She tells me she would like her room a lot better if it was cleaner, but she never cleans it. She doesn't like it when I throw her things away, so I'm going to fill up boxes with things that I want to give or throw away. Then she can go through them and the things she does want I will put away for her. I've tried cleaning her room before, but it somehow always gets messy again. Any tips on way to get my child to keep her room clean? She also has a lot of stuffed animals. Has anyone heard of a stuffed animal organizer? If you have read all of this I do greatly appreciate it. So again, if you have any ideas or tips, please tell me them.
