I've cleaned it & used Febreeze & still can't get it out. This is my husband's chair, of course, so I can't get rid of it, he loves his chair. It's driving me crazy.

Put it in the back of his pickup and drive around town for about half an hour and spray the heck out of it with lysol. It will smell very fresh until the next ballgame he watches while drinking beer and eating pretzels-he will likely let off some more explosions. Don't make chili on the weekends (-:.

There is a product out that you can purchase at Sams or I believe even in Walmart.
It's called Odo-B-gone. It comes in a gallon and you can dilute it to your strenght.
This should be used for a few days Then go to your local cleaning store, chemical supply, get a bacterial product that you put in your steam cleaner and clean the chair. Then once it's back to being used, spray only once a week with the odo and you should not have anymore troubles.
Hope this helps.

What if you put pretty smelling dryer sheets in the cress of the arms of the chair and where ever else you can stuff them ?

Febreze!!!

Even try lysol. If a guy sits in the chair... why bother. lol.

If you can't get it to go away. I'd suggest a new chair.

odors are caused by bacteria, therefore an enzyme cleaner needs to not only be applied to the fabric but injected into foam cushion. Greg

Get a dry cleaning machine. They work. My boyfriend did that to our couch and I got one of those steamer machines and voila!
