I know some people are really manky and change their sheets about once every two months, but I think some people are clean freaks, the ones who change theirs every week. How often should you change your bed sheets? Have any British people seen "How Clean Is You House", what to the women on there say?

This stuffed animal has "fur" that I'm afraid will get matted if it's put into a washing machine. It has sentimental value, so I would rather aviod that happening to it.
Thank you for any ideas you have.

I've gone through two of those brushed metal soap dishes in a few months, and both times they started to rust two to three weeks after using it... Is there any way to keep it from rusting? I've tried to keep it clean and fairly dry, but of course that's impossible with the soap sitting in it. Maybe there is a type of soap that keeps it from rusting? And if it's already starting to rust, is there a way to restore it or make it look better?

I bought a gray tshirt and didn't even notice, but it has a brownish tan stain in a straight line, possibly where it was once folded and set on a display table. I think it might either be dust from where it was exposed, or possibly even rust (maybe it was set against something rusty).

I have tried almost everything- lemon juice, fels naptha, salt, creme of tartar, dishwashing detergent, hairspray... any other ideas? Does anyone work in a store where clothes pick up dust from setting too long? If so, how do you treat the stains?

When washing the dishes by hand (NOT A DISHWASHER), but when you run out of dishwashing liquid, what can you substitute it with? THANKS!

I have long hair and it falls on the floor everyday when I brush my hair. Is there an easy way other than using my hands to pick it up? By the way, vacuum can't be applied to the floor. Thank you!

Well, this is a problem we all deal with:

Cotton clothes shrinking down almost three sizes in the wash

I want to know if any awesome person out there knows a way to prevent this?

Is there a certain way to wash them (using a machine please, no one has time to do it by hand), or a certain detergent, etc?

Thanks

I found that many of the cleaning products you find in the grocery store say do not use on brass or don't list brass as a surface they should be used on. For example the new scrubbing bubbles automatic shower cleaner says "do not use on brass". I'm looking for something to use on a daily basis to keep the showers clean.

I don't know how the smell got in there, but I have some clothes that have been washed and dried, and when they get damp, like after my shower, they have that mildewy smell. Is there some laundry treatment, product, etc. that I can use to get that smell out, or do I just have to throw the stuff away?
