we are moving into a house and we have an washer and electric dryer...there is a gas hookup in the basement for the dryer but i want to know if we can still use our electric dryer instead. i don't really want to pay for a brand new gas dryer as the washer/dryer set is new and was a gift.

My husband works for a car dealership in the service department. He is always getting grease on his clothes and I can't seem to find anything that will take it out. I have tried Dawn, Shout, and several other stain removing items but nothing seems to work. Does anyone have a home remedy that works?

We all have at least one, if not 2. They're full of dried up ink pens, rubber bands, dead batteries, etc. But what's the oddest thing in yours? I found a 10 yr old receipt from a restaurant and 2 tags from trees I bought 6 yrs ago that have long since died. Maybe it's time to clean it out.........nah..........

my four old was helping and dropped a quart of buttermilk on the carpet and then decided to see if standing on the container was a fun thing to do--what can I use to make sure that it doesn't mold or sour the carpet?

My 3 yr old son dumped 4 or 5 bottles of cologne out on the carpeted floor. The smell is so overpowering it's sickening. I've tried a lot of different products to mask the odor or to neutralize it. Nothing seems to work! Help!

Has anyone been offered a free carpet cleaning, then discovered it was a sales call for Kirby Vacuum? I fell for the cleaning offer and, because of a "gut feeling", locked up all valuables in the house. It seemed like a deceitful and shady operation? Has anyone had a similar experience?

Our air conditioner had an overflow problem that seeped into the next room, creating an odor like cat spray. It's slowly drying but the odor still lingers. Any suggestions?
