We just got brand new oak wooden floors, what is the best way to clean it? would it hurt the floors if i put water on it to mop it?

I had spilled some candlewax on a shirt of mine by accident. We tried putting the shirt in a freezer and then scraping the wax off. Then we got a paper towel putting it on both sides of the fabric to try and iron / melt the wax off. After this process we washed the shirt. Most of the wax removed from the shirt but you can still see a white spot on the shirt. Any ideas on how to save the shirt?

i had a Coke explode in my car on a hot day. I can not seem to get it off the roof. I have tried Just soap and water, a tide pen, spray and wash. It is still there. Any suggestions on how to get the stain out?

It's a common powder laundry detergent with some colorful ornament, or you can call it speckles, such as blue, green, rose etc. I don't need Tide, you know, I need other brands.

I accidentely put a sharpie mark right down the middle of the visor. It is cloth and there is a sticker type thing that has the directions for the seat belt or something like that. I have no idea what kinda material that the manufacturer used to have it stick there. I don't want to take off the manufacturer sticker thingy...but I DO want the sharpie g o n e.

I used ammonia to clean a product, but realizing that it would be a better idea to use bleach. I realize the dangers in mixing bleach and ammonia, and am wondering if/when i can use the bleach.

I'm out of liquid laundry detergent (gain or tide), and the only soaps I have in the house are Prell shampoo and a bar of Ivory soap. Will those work well in the washing machine if I use a three of four tablespoons of Prell and a small amount of shavings from the bar of Ivory soap?

I already washed my sneakers in a washing machine and after that they were clean and in good condition. But I am not sure about the converse shoes because they contain rubber. If u had an experience of washing converse in the washing machine, please tell me about it.

ok I have this jeans for a year already it has been wached many time but my washing machine broke so I used my friend's one , I don't know what happend but they just shrink so much..I didn't do anything different just cold water and delicates .. I'm so mad b/c they are my favorite jeans and they don't fit me anymore :(

I am a clean person, but my room constantlly smells musty and stuffy. I have to have a window open all the time. Is there anything that can make my room smell fresh without the window open? Also i have a few electrical appliances in my room like TV, Computer, Sky TV box, DVD player etc.... would this have anything to do with it?
