Do they really work and how do they clean stuff? I sometimes use them in my laundry. I want to be sure Billy Mays knows what he's talking about (which I highly doubt).

I recently purchased a cotton Teeshirt, and after its first wash it had shrunk significantly, I then took it back to the store, who sent it away for analysis, only to be told there was nothing wrong with it.
How can a Lab identify shrinkage after the goods have already been washed?

It's a 50 year old vinyl tub/shower. I’d love to take a bath but I’m afraid of what’s living on it.

I have washed the head, soak it in all types of disinfectants and yet still it leaves an odor when mopping and this mop is just about a month old. To make it worst I have no pets or children!

I've heard of a carpet cleaner called Spot Shot. I was wondering if anyone has used it? Does it work? Where can you buy it at? If not, what can I use on old stains on my carpets. I have no idea what the stains are. They were here when I moved in. So if anyone could help I'd be greatly appreciated. Btw, I have light tan carpets.

I'm renovating a house that has sat vacant for at least a year, most likely longer. There is a gorgeous stone hearth in front of the fireplace. The dust and mouse turds cleaned right up and scrubbing with some Simple Green and a nylon brush made most of it look like new. Except for one section, where it appears someone drew on the stone with maybe crayon maybe magic marker maybe something else. Is this hopelessly stained or is there something that can lift the color out?
