Use a drop of dishwashing detergent (making sure that it doesn't contain bleach). Put the drop on the stain and rub it in, dry with your fingers. Put a washcloth or paper towel on the inside of your shirt and hold it in place while you do this: Turn on the faucet and get it to run hot. Use a towel (or paper towel, but be forewarned that the paper towel bits tend to ball up when you rub it and it's wet). Wet a bit of the towel in the hottest water you can stand to touch and press it into the spot with the soap. Repeat a couple of times, turning the towel inside your shirt to a dry patch and rub the wetting towel just a touch (it can make the t-shirt material ball up so, don't rub too hard or too much on the spot).

You should be able to get rid of the spot quickly this way... repeating he process about 3 or 4 times.

This happens to me all the time when I'm cooking spaghetti sauce. Usually if you treat it with a regular bar of soap and running water with 10 minutes it will all come out. Just get the spot wet, and then rub the spot with the soap, and then rub the spot under running water.
