I have 2 cats and 1 small dog and 2 children. So we get the pet stains, and the kids with their markers or glitter glue stuff. We made the mistake of getting a very light colored carpet and it shows everything!

Our soil has a kind of red clay in it that seems almost impossible to get out (Northern California). My kids (ages 3 and under) play outside and stain their clothes in the dirt. I've tried spray-n-wash, tide with bleach alternative, and oxy-clean.

My daughter colored on our hideous tiled bathroom walls with a marker, and now we are moving out and I need to get it off. It is on the grout and the tiles.

I am confused with sateen and 100% cotton. Is sateen a cotton blend or are they similiar? Or What. I like sheets that stay cool and soft. I don't care if they wrinkle just as long as they are not "starchy." Please enlighten me.

I recently bought a pair of sandals, used them twice and the labels kept moving so I ended up tearing them off because they were annoying me. The problem is the inside of my sandals are too sticky and therefore uncomfortable to use because they keep sticking to my shoe. How to take the stickyness off?

Whenever I wash my zippered hoodies, I'm not sure what happens - either the zipper elongates, or the hoodie shrunk while the zipper didn't, or something. In any case, after it's washed, the zipper is too long for the hoodie, so if the hoodie lies flat (like when it's on me), the zipper bulges out and/or ripples. How do I prevent/reverse that?

I'm more concerned about using something that would kill germs rather than something that is made more for stains.
