To get permanent maker off of a two year old, you rub tooth paste into the marker, let set about fifteen minutes and wash off, then repeat if necessary.

I do not know if this would work on carpet, but I would try it before I tried stronger things. Let us know if it works!

Try spraying hair spray on it and dabbing with a white cloth. I know this works to get "permanent" marker off of hard non porous surfaces. If it is not too big of a mark and the rug is plush you may be cut way the worst of it and the remaining tuff will hide the fact some tuffs have been cut away. Good Luck

cut out the area that has permanent marker on it, glue in some carpet from either a corner of a closet with the same carpeting with carpet glue or a dark corner.

you dont the word " permanent " means what it says it never comes out, but try to get new carpet or something to cover it, Good Luck

oxyclean my kid draw on my I tryed it and it worked took all of it out with no problem just try it out good luck
