You're obviously using a harsh detergent. That happened to me when I used Amway detergent!
Since I stopped using the Harsh detergents my black socks remain black

The wrong type of detergent and/or water too hot. With the right kind of detergent, you can wash all your clothes in cold water and colors keep.

Yeah....color fades after a COUPLE HUNDRED WASHES.

the color bleeds a little each time. thats why you dont wash darks with lights
