Hold ice cubes on to it for as long as possible, then when it is more brittle it should come off with ease. (the melting water will also aid it in coming off).

To remove the gum from leather upholstery, you can rub an ice cube (placed in a plastic bag) over the gum, and freeze the gum until it hardens, then chip it off. Another option is to spread peanut butter over the gum. Let sit a few hours to dissolve the gum then wipe away.

use an ice cube to help flake it but off never never use nail polish remover on a leather surface. Goobe gone works wonder but test a small area before you use it

Try taking Avon's SkinSoSoft bath oil and rubbing it on and around the gum. It usually helps with things like gum, label residue, glue, etc.

Try lotion. Lotion is good for the couch and will grease up the gum to slip and slide a little bit. Leather is like your skin, so the lotion won't ruin it.

Rub an ice cube over it until it becomes hard and brittle then it should be easy to "chip" it off.
