I hate to iron because it takes a lot of time with so much(an ironing board and iron) out in the open, in everyone's way.

As an alternative to ironing, I take things out of the dryer while they are still hot and hang them up on good hangers right away. This works wonderfully!

I only iron the fancy clothes that I might wear to a wedding or other kind of dress up occasion.

Next to dry cleaning, there is not an alternative. Steaming does not always work. Ironing is pretty simple, it may take some time but just pick one day to iron everything and then it will be done for the week.

Definitely, I wish there was a way that I could just wake up, grab my clothes and they were already ironed. I like the Downy spray, but that doesn't always work. I need something easier and quicker.

Absolutely!

I would love to be able to avoid ironing anything (yes, even my linen stuff) unless I'm currently sewing it together. I'll iron stuff under construction, but hate ironing finished pieces...

I've always wondered; if they could make a washing and drying machine, why can't someone invent a machine where u just pop u're clothes in and they come out ironed?

ACTUALLLLY I found one - I was looking at the neatest "dryer" it was as big as a fridge - the bottom was a regular dryer but the top looked like a closet..... and you just hang your stuff up and go to town..... wrinkle free =)
