I spilled a good deal of KY Jelly on the carpet and let it sit. Now I have been trying to scrub it out with water and a stiff brush but it's not working. The KY monster is just growing, and my scrub brush is slick.

My tub is really old, but not old enough to be galvanized. I'm not sure what the material is. But it holds dirt and scum and soap residue like you wouldn't believe! We also have hard water, so there's lots of calcium build-up. I've used abrasive cleansers, which work somewhat, but nothing seems to get it really clean. I also filled it with bleach water and drained it. No change. My fave cleaner is Bar Keepers Friend. It works great in the sinks. But I can't find anything that works on this tub!

Ok i have a pair of really old silver earrings with huge diamonds in.
They are really dirty and so are the butterfly backs.
Really really dirty and I would love someone to tell me how to clean them please.
I know toothpaste cleans silver but these are too small to scrub or rub.
I was thinking more on the lines of a homemade silver cleaner where i can soak them for a while.
Thanks xx

I know some people that go a week, a month, or longer. Their houses smell awful. I also know people that never have a dish in the sink. What about you?

the spots are tiny and concentrated on a few areas and only showed up on my work clothes...weird. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem with my washer? I've heard that I should put lemon juice on the spots and dry them in the sun, but I am more worried about future washes

A friend just gave me a microwave that works fine. However, it has tons of grease ect inside. There is a product you can put in the microwave that cleans the inside quickly, but I can't remember the name. Does anyone know? Thanks

I have BAM to kill them immediately, so I don*t need to know what kills them, but I want to know what will repel them. They are suddenly coming out of three of my kitchen cabinets. Does anyone know what these things like to eat.? Maybe I can put some stuff out to attract them then poison them.

You know the story, everything came out a faint strawberry colour. Im gutted because my new light blue shirt was in there. I soaked, rewashed with vanish oxi-action, didnt make much difference. Its dry now...is there a hope in hell of getting in out?
