You know the story, everything came out a faint strawberry colour. Im gutted because my new light blue shirt was in there. I soaked, rewashed with vanish oxi-action, didnt make much difference. Its dry now...is there a hope in hell of getting in out?

Doubtful you'll get it out. That's why men shouldnt do the laundry!!!! Gotta give you credit for trying though!

Did you put it in the dryer? It is permanently pink if you dried it in the dryer. If the shirt is cotton. you can always try to dye it a bit darker blue. There are cold water dyes and hot water dyes; the one you use depends on the fabric care instructions. Read the dye instructions CAREFULLY and wash whatever you use to dye the shirt in very well before washing any other clothing in it; otherwise, you'll get a bunch of blotchy blue clothes.

Sorry, it's toast!! Next time throw in a Shout Color Catcher in your laundry so this doesn't happen again. It pulls running colors into the sheet.....Good luck next time...

i recognize this grow to be in all probability a one off yet have you ever heard of color catchers? you set them in the grow to be with what ever colored clothing and it catches each and every of the dye! they are extremely solid... solid success with all your purple stuff, a minimum of each and every little thing fits now! i might chuck your sons t-shirt away and pretend you haven't any longer considered it!! solid success x

probably not if you put it in the dryer, the heat will "set" in the color. Washing colors in cold water will help keep them from transferring color
