Hi,

How can we find whether our new clothes loose colur ? One time i put one of my new pant with other clothes and the color got stuck into all others. We can wash it alone for the first time to find whether its loosing colour. But i'm in US and don't have facility to wash in hand. Please help.

I'm out of laundry soap, and I have no way to get to the store (20 miles out of town). What can I use instead? I don't have any borax, but otherwise have a pretty well stocked pantry. Could I use baking soda? What would be best? Help please!!! Thanks in advance.

I use Cascade Complete liquid so I don't think it's soap.Could it be hard water residue? I have started handwashing glasses but with a family of 6 it is a pain!

I have a revolting smell in my bedroom I have had it airing for weeks with the windows open but still it persists. It's a very strong fusty smell, but there is absolutely no sign of damp anywhere. It seems to be coming from under the floorboards but I have lifted a couple and theres no sign of damp or anything untoward. Whats more it smells considerably worse at night??? I mean whats that all about? It's been like it for over a month and is getting worse.
It's been suggested that it might be a dead mouse/rat but I'm not sure what decomposing rodent smells like. Does anyone know if it smells similar to fusty? And how on earth can I get rid of it short of pulling up my entire floor.

My husband gets dirt and grim into his light blue uniforms and I can't ever seem to get them completely clean. It is an embarrisment for me to send him to work because I just think he looks dirty.

That is pretty self explanatory. I am a musician, and I dont have time between my gig today and gig tommorow to get it dry cleaned. How can I clean it myself? Just a few sweat stains and stuff.

I want to use something that I already have in my house. . . should I use a bleach sol'n or vinegar? I haven't used it in over a year and I don't think I cleaned and dried it very well the last time I used it (I see little mildew or something). I have a lot of stretchy rayon knit pants and skirts from places like Express and Target, but after I wear them a few times they are not as soft. I noticed little fabric pills on the cloth. Can I keep these bumps off the clothes, and is there any way to remove them?
