I used black dye, and the floor of my shower is this kinda rubbery material. I looks really bad.

(1) I use to think that in hot countries when people hung their duvet (comforter) out of the upstairs window it was to "air" it. Perhaps it is really for the fleas and other bugs to drop out in the ultra-violet light of the sun.
(2) Can we use a UV lamp to kill/deter fleas instead of using all those chemical sprays?

Ok check it out......its not about HOT PANTS it about jeans....I wan to get my jeans (which are Paper jeans, mucho $$$) hemed , shortened like 2 inches. Ive taken some Deisel jeans in, and they like folded them under, and put a stich, and they are fine. But they dont look like they were, the bottom hem looking now on all jeans has a like RIPPLED/distressed/light blue dark blue look. ( look at the bottom hem of any LEVIS ot jeans and you will know what Im talking about.

CAn I get that same affect when I take them to get shortened...IS this effect caled anything???, I heard from my sis, that STACY & CLINTON on WHAT NOT TO WEAR, said you can get that part stiched back on?!?!?! CAN you? I hate that look when they jsut fold it under and do a stich, it looks wrong, and well like you took them in and got them shortened! ANy advice?? Can you do this at home???, does anyone know what Im talking about??? O r know where to go????

More specifically, a felt cowboy hat. I don't have a lint brush or I'd use that.

Not a question but thought this might help someone. I really like Oxiclean and has removed many stains for me. Lots of other tips and reviews here.

OK so if I wear a woolly jumper to work, it's not getting dirty - there's a long-sleeved t-shirt between it and my skin.

Should I put it back in the drawer, in a pile of "I've worn it but it's not dirty" clothes, or wash it anyway (Wasting water, soap, time, energy and the lifetime of the clothes item)?

I have a "I've worn it but it's not dirty" pile which, once worn twice, I then wash these rare items. Thing is, I hate having this pile. Is it OK to put it back in my drawer, or WHAT WOULD YOU DO??

I handwash my bra, and I can't tell if I've gotten all the soap out. Sometimes there's still soap even if I don't see suds when I squeeze the water out. Any fool-proof methods when rinsing?

You know, those little tiny holes that seem to appear out of nowhere because you can't seem to remember getting it nicked on something. I use to remember a tale about moths eating your clothes but I don't have a moth problem. I know clothes can last past a couple of years so what do you suggest?
