You know, those little tiny holes that seem to appear out of nowhere because you can't seem to remember getting it nicked on something. I use to remember a tale about moths eating your clothes but I don't have a moth problem. I know clothes can last past a couple of years so what do you suggest?

Washing causes most problems. For example, in the washing machine if zippers rub against other items, they can cause damage.

The best thing is to make sure you have similar items washed at the same time. Don't wash things just by darks and lights, wash them by darks and lights, but put delicate things only with other delicate things, heavy things with heavy things, and so forth.

That being stated, if your washer is old and has issues, it might cause snags that can also cause little holes.

I always wondered about that and remember reading somewhere a while back that overloading the washing machine can cause the clothes to do that.

Check your washing machine. Sometimes the clothes snag on a rough place in the barrel of the machine.

Keep all clothes off the floor, hung on hangers and hang a scent bar in your closet.

Don't wear them or wash them. Hang them in the closet and admire them from afar.

Wrap them in duct tape and, when that starts to wear through, re-wrap them.
