call your area carpet cleaners and find one that injects antibacterials. that will kill the odder cosing bacteria under the carpet.

I have a puppy, too, and just found the best stuff. It's called Get Serious! You can buy it at Petsmart. It's kinda expensive (about $8.99 for a small bottle), but it's worth it!

get puppy pads at walmart or any store such as that and it will keep your puppy from urinating on the carpet and potty train as well i have a puppy so I learned the hard way

I have used soap to wash it first, then use pine-sol. Sometime, those bottle for carpet treatment that comes with the VAX vacuum you hire from grocery store do wonders

Soak the spot in "Nature's Miracle" for a few minutes. Then blot out the extra liquid. You can get it at pet stores.
