I have an off-white slipcover that I want to be stark white. How do I do this?

Make sure you fill your washer and agitate bleach and detergent before adding your slip cover. Use plenty of bleach and make sure you rinse thoroughly. If there are extra straps available you might want to cut a piece and check to see how easily it whitens since the less bleach the better. Cottons and polyesters shouldn't present problems but other fabics-- wool blends for example might.

Put it in your washing machine and add the bleach to the highet temperature. This works for me every time. I also add a cup of detergent as well.
