~~I know it sounds crazy, but after streaks and spots and wiping forever on windows and mirrors around the house,I found a miracle while I was waxing my truck!!! I used MOTHER's California Gold Carnauba Cleaner Wax (It is suposed to remove oxidation on vehicles and restore color) Well, I tried it in the house on windows and mirrors and it ROCKS!!! It is awesome! (It has a good scent too...not like amonia in Windex) What a secret men try to keep to themselves! Just a little of the liquid in a cloth or paper towel. Rub it on in circles, then wipe off in circles with a clean cloth or paper towel. The result is a window or mirror so clean and clear you don't know it is glass. Simply an amazing secret weapon against streaks. You WILL get compliments. I now keep a bottle at home under the sink. You can get them at a local automotive store or Wal-Mart.
Try it- You will be pleasantly suprised!!!

Costco carries one in a can called "Glass Cleaner" by Sprayaway. It comes in a 3 pack and I've found it to be excellent! Are you cleaning outside or inside glass? If it's outside weather plays a HUGE factor when cleaning glass. Too hot or too cold and it won't come clean and streak free no matter what.

It is normally not the glass cleaner doing the streaking but the paper towels or whatever you are wiping with. Use newspapers and a good glass cleaner and you will get streak free glass everytime.

Yes, I finally found a product at Lowe's. It's called Hope's Perfect Glass and comes in a black spray bottle. It does a beautiful job. I had tried all the other products and methods also.

Ammonia and water. It really works, just make sure you've opened the windows properly because the smell is rather bad.
