My towels and washcloths have a stench. They smell fresh when they come out of the dryer, but as soon as they are wet they have a very strong musty/mildew smell.
I use Tide w/bleach, warm wash, cold rinse, and a dryer sheet.
They only smell when they get wet. Even if it is 5 minutes after they are taken from the dryer.
What is causing this smell? I live in a military housing community and have asked others in my neighborhood if they have the same problem and they do not.

does anyone know what to use to stop the iron in my water from turning my white sock and other clothes from staining. This is our first time living with well water and I know we have a filter that we changed when we moved in . But the socks especially are a off yellow color. Even if I bleach them it's still yellow. Any ideas on what to do and use. thanks

When I come home from work there's a strange smell in my lounge, I have a dog but he's not allowed in there. My house is immaculate but I can't detect where it's coming from. Any ideas of how to get rid of it? I've shampooed the carpets etc, tried Oust, Shake and Vac and general air fresheners but it comes back.

just around the edges.. the caulking (sp?) or edging around the bottom and corners. never fails, the mold will start growing even after using bleach. what to do?

I asked a question last night but closed it by accident. If it is bed bugs that are biting me every night, wouldn't i have seen them more than just today. how longs does the spray take to work that the council put down yesterday? could it just be the end of them or should i get the coucil out to spray again. He checked my bed and said you would see the eggs lying in the seams but couldn't see any. I've only just bought new bedding as well a couple of weeks ago to see if that helped, new duvet, pillows etc. Also i have matress protecter on so shouldn't thay not be able to get through that?
Thanks to everyone who replied to my last question.
Also how would i have got them, the bed is only 2 years old and we don't have pets or anything.
thanks

When I use anything with oil in it on the stove the oil evaporates and forms a residue on the stove. I try to wipe it up immediately, but if I miss it and it drys I can't get it off.

And ENTIRE FULL GALLON of laundry detergent spilled onto my laundry room floor. How do I clean it up? It's like all gooey and covering the wood laminate floor. Very concentrated, so I think even after I clean it up, the floor will be slippery w/residue.
