Get your self a small shop vacuum and then get the attachment for shampooing carpets. The shop vacuum base is made out of plastic, so it will hold the water, the hose attachment for shampooing carpets hooks up to kitchen tap. I used one of these for a long time before I got my regular carpet shampooer.

Kirby's are the bees knees in vacuums and they have built in carpet cleaners - they are expensive but have a lifetime guarantee and can be part ex'd for a new model

in case you do no longer want to place alot of money into one, verify at WalMart. I genuinely have seen them there. I genuinely have a Vacumn purifier and a Bissel that i exploit to shampoo my Carpet. I genuinely have a puppy canines and that i'm going through with allergys, so I shampoo approximately each 3 months. you would be stunned only how nasty your carpets do get in a short quantity of time.

Kirby is the BEST -- expensive, but worth EVERY penny...
Each one comes with attachment to convert it from a regular vac to a carpet cleaner!

probably cheaper hireing an industrial machine from a dry cleaners or somewhere it will work out cheaper and do a great job to

The rainbow vac, It is very expensive but it does everthing. I wanted one but it was a bit to much money for me.

kirby it does every thing. or you can buy a hoover carpet cleaner.
that's what I have. I love it.
My mom and my sister have a kirby and they swear by it.
