Heater can crack and dry out the rubber. I have washed my shoes before and then just air dried them

They sell a rack for drying sneakers in the dryer so they dont bang around. It is like a long basket that keeps the shoes int he middle while the tub rotates. My dryer actually came with one.

My mom always washed our shoes in the washer along with a few rag towels. But we never dried them in the dryer.

I have washed my NIKE trainers lots of times over the years in the washing machine and they are fine. I would NEVER put them in the drier though always best to hang on a line outside in the sun for a while. Really freshens them up.

Washing in washing machine is ok. Air drying is the best method on letting them dry.

drying them in the dryer will make them shrink up and depending on the material making it melt i would rather be safe than sorry and wait to air dry them then to ruin a good pair of shoes !!!!

I have done this with my NIKEs several times. Put them in a separate wash from your other laundry.
