Thanks for answering the following question:
We want to rewire a 2 bedroom property(built in 1956).Can we use the old conduit? or we need to replace it?

I am happy that we can use the old conduit but still thinking how difficult will it be to pull through the new cables. or are there any thin cables available in the market.

I am trying to make monogrammed pillowcases, where the monogram is in the very middle of the pillowcase. For this to work, I need to know the proper placement of the pillowcase hems on the bed. Do they hang off the edges or meet in the middle of the bed?

This is possibly the weirdest one yet that I've asked. And because I usually use my countertop convection/microwave oven I have never really cared much. But when I bought my condo 2 years ago, which is 30 years old now, the oven had no racks inside. I use it to store pots, mostly. But I find I may need to use the oven to bake soon and I have absolutely NO idea if they even sell just racks for ovens and not a whole oven or where I would get one!

I have already ruled out that there is nothing affecting the thermostat like a draft or direct sunlight to affect it.

I live in eastern Virginia and currently have Bremuda Grass (with a little of this and that mixed in) and I want to plant a grass that is nice and dark green all season long. Hybrid Fescue turfgrass (I think, please correct me if I am wrong). I know that I SHOULD have dethached and pulled up as much as possible in the fall and reseeded then. Well, I missed it. Am I SOL until next Fall?

I know how to do laundry, but the guy way.

I do have a nice hamper to put my clothes in but when it comes time to laundry I just grab everything in there and throw it in the wash.

I don't sort out colors or anything other factor. I just grab clothes from the hamper, put them in my laundry bag and walk to the other side of the apartment complex where the closest laundry machines are at.

Yeah I guess you can say I'm a bit lazy on the matter but I do want to preserve and have my shirts looks great.

After my washing (Always cold water only) and drying (One laundry sheet) I just grab the lot of the dried clothes into the laundry bag, lug that back to my apartment and sort them out here.

What I want is to have clothes where the black doesn't lose its "blackness", the color remains true, the texture doesn't mess up, etc.

Help?

For my horticulture class our teacher has given us all a plant. I got the Gold Dust. Well it was doing really good until ur teacher decided it was time to re-pot our plants and put together a soil for them. Well i used some moisture control, some time release fertilizer, i believe, and some perlite. Every since then my plant has been going down hill. I didnt water my plant for a week and it was still soaked when i didnt give it that much water in the first place. Well the leaves started to wilt so i made a new soil mixture and when i did i found my roots to be less than they were when i first got the plant. My teacher told me to put it back into the smaller pot so my roots can gain some stability.

Is there anything i can do to save my plant? And is there a certian soil mixute i should be using? If you tell me what to do i will gladly buy and make the mix.

Thank you! Im sorry this is so long.

My vaccuum spits out tons of white powder all over my house when I try to use it because there is tons of white powder in my carpet!! I just moved into this apartment about 2 months ago and everytime I vacuum, I'd get a lot of powder. Well, now my vacuum won't even stop spitting out powder! What is this powder and what is it doing in my carpet?? I'm going crazy, gagging on this stuff. I can't vacuum my house.

I have well water so my electric pump runs almost constantly because the water continuously runs in the tank. I've tried the usual methods that work but I don't have the $ right now for a plumber--any ideas? Oh, and this isn't a ball it's one of those approx 3" Disc things that some toilets have instead of the ball.

I just bought a house on a slab with a partial basement. The part of the house that is on a slab, then crawl space and then main level, has floors sloping towards the wall that is in middle of the house ( the house is 20 years old). A structural engineer said that the weight bearing wall on the main level and the corresponding wall on the second floor caused the 2 2x10s to give in ( the slope is about 1.5 inches). He recommended putting a steel post in the crawl space to prevent any further dipping. He told us NOT to jack it up as this might case cracks in the wall especially the ones on the second floor. Won't a steel post like that scare off potential buyers who might think that there is some serious problem with the house? Our pre-purchase inspector never said anything about this so is it better to just leave it alone or install the post?
