I want to buy a tree for my girlfriend for Christmas but I would like it to be 1) currently smallish 2) able to survive in a pot for the next year. We hope to move out in a years time and I'd like to be able to take it with us...

What trees fit the criteria?

So I'm in high school and I would really like to get my room done before i'm off to college [haha]. Right now I have everything set EXCEPT a 2nd wall color.
my bed is solid colors of:
magentaish [main]
orange [a blaze orange almost but not near as bright] [tiny bits]
and aquamarine [accent].
it's really cute [even if it may not sound it] and I need a main wall color now. I'm going to do 1 wall with an aquamarine to make it fun but i want a more neutral color for the rest of the walls to tone it down.

i was thinking at first a grey but I decided that may be too blah
then i thought a light verson of a chocolate brown [nothing too dark since the room isn't that big and wood trim is everywhere]

any suggestions/comments would be appriciated =)

just posted a question but wanted to give better details. what wall colors would compliment this bedding set?

I have the dark red one. Its much prettier and darker red in person. My bedroom furniture is a medium oak sleigh bed. floors are going to be medium-darker oak hardroom. I'm going to be bringing in some asian inspired elements into the bedroom decor. I'm thinking about chocolate brown.

My husband and I can't agree on what color/s to paint our bedroom. We have a beautiful dark red bedding set thats staying. The floor will soon be hardwood. Anyway can anyone give me any ideas? My husband wanted to paint two walls red and two walls yellow(in specific shades). I'm sure he has a method to his maddness but I think it would look like a circus tent. We have a basic rectangle bedroom, the window is small, we don't get alot of sunlight.

NO I'm not trying to break in and enter. I accidentally closed the door to one of the rooms in my house, and the door got locked from the inside, and we don't have a key that opens that lock.

Anyone have any suggestions?

we would like to build a barn for our horses, but the only to have anough room is to cut down a whole bunch of scrub oaks.
i would rather not cut down the trees just because i am somwhat a enviromentalist, but there really is no other way to keep my horses safe from storms and such.
so other than burning the trees that we cut down, is there any way that we could re use the trees? and what would be the cost?

i greatly apprecieate your help.
THANKS

it is an American Standard, Fredom 80, single stage. for the home. about 5 yrs. old
first the problem: the flame would die out in the middle of the cycle then it won't relight. some times the flame stays on for hours (becuase when it lights we try to get all we can before we have to turn it off). i replaced the Flame Sensor(thermal couple?) furnace worked for rest of day but still having problems.once in a while the ignitor will be glowing and the furnace won't light off the get.
ALSO: somtimes i get an error code, for- open tempreture limit circuit.

thanx for any help or suggestions!

that there is a ghost living in one of my upstairs bedrooms in my house. Because at night there is always sound coming from the closet and my cat is always meowing during the night. Is it true animals pick up on that? I'm curious I want to know if there is a ghost up there. I know I sound dumb but I'm serious. My house was built in 1919 so I don't know. Where could I go to find the history of my house? Is it possible to find it online?

I have looked at various websites that have a handle I like in one of these sizes, but not one to match the other size. Any advice on where I can go or how to solve this problem?

I was out of town for three weeks, so I filed USPS Change of Address forms for both my physical and PO box addresses. I indicated that the "move" was temporary. I received confirmation letters for both addresses with the correct start *and end* dates. I returned home today (Sunday), and I cannot access my PO box, because the lock has been changed. Furthermore, my physical address mail box (at an apartment complex) has a note from the letter carrier asking for "New tenant name." It seems that my temp forward has become permanent. Obviously I need to take this up with the local PO Monday morning, but I was wondering if anyone has had this happen, and if there is anything additional I can or should do. What if they have already re-rented my PO box to another customer? Also, I know I had mail in both my PO and physical boxes (other than junk mail), primarily periodicals, that I never received at my forwarding address. What happened to that mail? Thanks!

I have a blue rug in my dinning room and would like to paint the walls. There is a trim going around which makes me want to split the walls into two colors. The problem is that with a blue rug I don't realy know what colors to choose. My home decor is sort of modern with leather couches, big TV and surround sound installed around the main living room. My dinning room table is glass top with black trim and the chairs are cream colored. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

I live in Oregon . I would like to get a woodstove or pellet stove. I have heated with an Orley wood stove from 1976-1986, so I know wood stoves& cords of wood. I live in another home & it is all set for a woodstove, nice big stone hearth etc. but ... I'm not updated on wood stove info.
I am on a very limited budget. What I'd like to do is find an older Orley stove, stick it in & heat with it. I know there R 1000 codes etc, but .. I'm living on pennies, & I believe it would be so much better than my silly inefficient wall gas furnace. Anyone knowledgable about these stoves ? Bottom line, very low budget, live alone, 1100 square ft home, in my 50s . hmm seems I always forget some important info, if you have practical, not expensive answers, I'd love to hear. I know all about hauling wood, paying for it, chopping it, etc. but don't know current ways to heat cheaply with wood. thanks
When I looked up pellet stoves on wikipedia there was a note that said pellets are now expensive/
