NO I'm not trying to break in and enter. I accidentally closed the door to one of the rooms in my house, and the door got locked from the inside, and we don't have a key that opens that lock.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Ooh boy! Take the door off its hinges? Unfortunately its hinges are on the inside. My landlord's been trying to break it open by inserting a flat spatula-like devices to try to break the door open. It's a pain!

The credit card trick, it is just a trip lock, not a deadbolt, or you wouldn't have been able to lock from the inside... my 10 year old locks his bathroom all the time, it's too easy to unlock!! Don't use a good card tho, get it in the crack and move it up and down where the inside catch is..

Locksmith's are expensive, try this first!!

Call a locksmith. They will have the door open in minutes. They can also make you a key for next time.
