I just washed my bathroom rug on gentle cycle with cold water. I would like to dry it now. Whats the best way to dry it besides hanging it outside? I need it to dry relatively fast. My dryer has an "air" section. Will that just blow air through the dryer and be best for the rug?

My family is looking to send a thank you plant to a lady who has helped us out a lot lately. She likes to work in the garden so we'd like to get something she can plant and will last. Have any suggestions for a plant that is in the gift price range and will be able to be planted soon?

I have a room addition without heat so I use a small electric heater. But I cannot use it any longer because it blows the circuit breaker everytime. Has anyone out there ever purchased a "EdenPURE" portable heater? Their full page ad appears in newspapers. The cost is at least $300, but I would be willing to pay that if it would NOT blow my circuits. Has anyone had any problems using this heater drawing too much power? And doing exactly what the old one does. Thank you...

There is a small amount of rust around the hot water supply line, where the cut off under the sink is. There is a very small leak. I can't afford to call a plumber. Do I have to remove the coupling from the pipe coming from the wall, or can I just wrap it or seal it with some type of plumber's caulk or tape?

I keep seeing these 1000 plus pound pumpkins on TV and I wonder if that's a genetic thing (like the kind of pumpkin they are) or if it's a matter of something the farmer is doing (like special food or soil or something).

This morning my husband turned on our heater for the first time since we moved in to a new house. A little while later my bathroom was filled with smoke and the fire alarms were going crazy. It had a smell of hot glue guns and wood. It eventually went away without anything else happening. Why was there so much smoke? Should I do something about this? I have tried to contact the builder but he is always too busy to come take a look when anything goes wrong.

I had sales people come to my door last night. I was just getting in the shower. I told them I had very little time. Two came in and demostrated. The woman was very understand and went through it fast. When they were getting ready to leave the big boss came in. I am assuming to close the deal. He went throught the demo all over again. I kept telling him I have been through it already. Three hours later they were leaving!! She apologized. It seems like an amazing vacuum, but a lot of work. In addition to the work it was going to cost me 1900.00! I hear they Dyson (misspelled I am sure) is good. Does anyone know anything about the Dyson?
