You need to try soaking the pan in hot water for 15-30 minutes then scrub it with a brillo pad or a brush. If this doesn't work repeat the process.

You can put some washing soda in the pan with water and let it boil for a while ,or you can even try it with a bit of washing powder then the burnt stuff will lift off

As a husband... i can relate to this.....

Non stick pan.... use boiling water, ad let it stand for about 5 mins, the just rinse off.... if not a non stick pan, then steel wool (Brillo) is the best.

Good luck...

Dissolve any washing powder or liquid in the pan, then bring it to the boil you will find all the mess comes off, what ever it is good luck!

now use an old table knife and scrape gently to remove the heavy stuff. Then, use a nylon scrubber and elbow grease to get the rest, is it a coated pan? If not, you can use steel wool pads, Brillo or SOS, to shine it up.

Same as Link says, but first just boil some washing up liquid in it then do the scrub thing. Makes it easier!

Try filling the pan with hot water and add a little fabric softener. Let it sit for about an hour and it should come off pretty easily. Worked for me!

Don't use anything too scratchy on it like a wire brush or anything, assuming its a non- stick pan. You have to use hot water, or you'll never get it off.
If normal washing up liquid and a scourer doesn't work, try biological laundry powder, mixed in a paste- it's strong stuff, and might work, plus its abrasive.

Soak it in HOT water with soap. Get a scrubby pad and start scrubbing. Or, go shopping and see if you can replace the pan.
