I'd like to try a skylight or maybe a non-moving vent. Do you know of any easy to install kits for either of these projects?
Thanks!!

They make hoods (a bag) to cover the turbines they also make a foam plug that goes inside the turbine.
Passive vents are pretty common there should be eave vents and then vents that mount hi upon the roof they cerculate the air in the actic space.
A skylight wont move the air but lets light in.

You should not cover up the vents at any time of the year regardless if you are in WI or FL. I could see where some of the turbine vents maybe a little large but you must maintain some type of venting. In WI a newer home will typically have a ridgecap vent with soffit vents, some older homes will have a gable vent also with soffit vents or the 12" square roof vents with the soffit vents. The square roof 12" vents would probably fit to replace your turbine vents, I'm actually not exactly sure if it is truely 12" square but at least somewhere between 12" to 16".

a non mving vent, also known as a static roof vent would be your easiest solution. most times the base of those are the same as most turbine bases. You need to check the boxes at your local home improvement store and measure your existing turbine base to make sure you get the right one.. There is no easy install kit for skylights that I have ever heard of. Typically there is framing and drywall work involved in that.
