like most dorm rooms there is bunk beds. But i was wondering if i somehow got a frame to another bunk bed could i make my bed into a loft, and put my desk under it. I go to UPJ if anyone is familiar to their beds. They are wood frames but you can change the height. I was also thinking of using the dresser to support on side maybe. I don't know if anyone has any idea for more room or dorm ideas in general pleasse let me know!

I am noticing dark specs on my vinyl siding. There are very many small specs(circular) close together. They are dark in color but very light in pigment if that make since. You can't see them unless you get close to the siding. I pulled some of the siding back and there is nothing on the interior. It is all on the exterior. I have been looking online for pictures of mold but everthing I see online is very dark comparted to what I see on mine. It looked like it was just dirty to start with but now I can tell it is not just dirt. Does this look like mold? or something else?

I know it sounds silly. But my landlord dropped off a can of stain w/water guard. Well I didn't read the can properly...After letting it dry over 24 hrs it was still "tacky". It comes off to the touch. After reading the can more thoroughly it says "not to be used on decks or wood lawn furniture" well TOO LATE. It does not say what to do if you do so...
Anybody have this happen to them? If so how did you remedy it while still saving the existing wood? I need to remove as much as I can. I don’t know if I want to strip it, I hear bleach can destroy wood. I am scared of mixing another chemical with it and causing a bad reaction and I don’t want to but a clear coat of water sealant on it yet because I am afraid this oil based evil product will keep it from curing correctly. Please spare me the “you should have read the can” I did not take note to the fine print…I made a mistake, and now I am trying to fix it. Anything would be appreciated! Thanks everyone

This text provides the script of the Vacuum Sales digital story. Use this text as an alternative or supplement to viewing the digital story itself.

“The other day when I got home from work I heard a knock at our front door. It was a salesperson selling vacuum cleaners.

He had a vacuum with him that he claimed was the latest in vacuum cleaning technology. He asked me to come into the living room and then he guy dumped a huge pile of dirt on my white carpet! I was about to tell him to get lost when he vacuumed it all up and sure enough it was completely gone. I couldn’t believe it, the carpet looked brand new!

Then he said “Anyone who wants a comfortable, clean home needs this amazing vacuum cleaner. You certainly look like someone who likes having a really clean home. So, you definitely need this vacuum cleaner!”
I told the salesperson he made a convincing argument but that I needed some time to think about it. So he agreed to come back in a few hours for my answer.

I want to purchase a new washer. Right now I've a whirlpool & even in rented apts I've used Whirlpool. Is that the the best one or are GE/Maytag comparable. My budget is around $400. I do have a fancy for front-loading machines as I think they are better for the comforters & other delicate stuff. I checked with a sales rep at Lowe's & he says that front-loading is better than top-loading as its much efficient in water usage & spinning out excess water so that the drying time will be less. Also he suggests a stainless steel tub to a porcelain tub. Can somebody confirm if these suggestions are correct based on personal experience ? Getting a front-loading for $400 is impossible but I'm planning to check at Sears outlet where they sell dented appliances at discounted rates.

He says that It will eventually sag. It is screwed to the joist properly and everything. It is now ready to paint. I did all my ceilings with 3/8. I have posted this question before and the concensus was that I should not worry about. But my electrician said something again to me about it. He said that it was dangerous. I really don't want to redo my ceilings. He has got me worried. Should I be, or is he just blowing smoke?

My window air conditioner dripped outside and left rust stains down our vinyl siding - I just tried power washing it with siding cleaner and I also used a Mr. Clean Magic eraser; neither worked all the way - it may be stained in to the siding. Any ideas of how to remove it or cover it? The siding is white. Thanks for any help!

I started a perennial garden last year and when fall came my husband cut all the plants down to the ground as part of the fall yard clean-up. Before he does it again this year I'd like to know : is this the proper thing to do? Are any plants supposed to be left untouched?
Thanks!

I need something to clean my wood floors, my WHOLE house is wood floors besides the kitchen, dining room, and bathrooms.I have tried orange glo, pledge wood floor cleaner and polisher and murphy's oil soap, and nothing seems to really clean them, after it dries there is a build up on them and they are still dull and don't shine, although the orange glo kind of made them shine but it is sooo expensive now.Anyone have any ideas??
