like most dorm rooms there is bunk beds. But i was wondering if i somehow got a frame to another bunk bed could i make my bed into a loft, and put my desk under it. I go to UPJ if anyone is familiar to their beds. They are wood frames but you can change the height. I was also thinking of using the dresser to support on side maybe. I don't know if anyone has any idea for more room or dorm ideas in general pleasse let me know!

Actually what you describe is found already, sorry not at your school. I'm not sure a dresser could support half a bunk and human weight....they are just flimsy particle board anymore. If it was integral to overall design it would support the weight. A bunch of 4x4 posts, bolts and you could do this!
