Side of cabinetry is pealing away? It is not real wood. How can we cover it?

It looks like paper (to look like wood). What can we do to fix these sides without investing a lot of money?

Basically IS paper that has a photogragh of wood degign on it. Many paneling manufacturers use this method also. You could purchase a piece of wood veneer and attach it to the cabinet. Stain and seal it and then secure it to the cabinet.

is it paper or is it veneer(a glued on thin wood piece) either way you can buy these at Lowe's or Homedepot. go to the cabinet section and ask someone. You can probably fix this yourself.
