we have a septic field- just emptied in May. The butler sink in the kitchen gurgles when I run water down the main sink. The toilet at the other end of the house gurgles too-all by itself. What is going on?

Dear God:
I know that I'm a sinner. I deserve Hell. But You sent Jesus to die for my sins. I believe that He died and rose again. I ask you now to forgive my sins, once an for all. I now receive Jesus Christ as my Lord and Personal Saviour. Please come into my heart and save me, Help me to know I am saved and live for You, the rest of my life. In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen.

We have problems with mold in the bathroom at now both houses we have lived. The mold appears on the bathroom ceiling but nowhere else in the house.

We have used Kilz when we paint, we shower with the door and/or window open (no open in the winter), we clean as regularly as the majority of folks, but nothing works.

I have seen where you can plug in a fan that is to help with this problem, but the consumer reports I have read are mostly negative - so I am hesitant to drop $30/$40 on something that really doesn't do anything.

Any thoughts out there?

We decided to replace the sink in our bathroom, when we removed the sink from the cabinet, which we wanted to keep we found a small area of black mold in the seam of the sink and cabinet. How is the best way to remove it. About the size of a nickel. This is the only spot we found.

I am a beginning gardener, finally getting around to fixing up the overgrown weed-infested landscaping in our backyard. See pictures...this is the area I am working with. Basically, I dug up all the weeds, chopped and dug out some Yuccas (what a nightmare), and i am left with all this soil that has roots all over in it. I researched and ordered the plants I want there and have a design ready for when they get here.

How do I get the area actually ready to plant in? The soil has all these little root clusters in it...is that ok?

Should I dig all this soil out and replace it, or just cover with a bunch of new soil?

And since this is a big area, HOW DO I HAUL AWAY/BRING IN ENOUGH SOIL to cover this area??? I can't imagine just getting bags from a garden store, that would take so many! HELP I DON'T KNOW HOW TO PROCEED! Thanks.

My home telephone is wired with cat 5 using 8 wires. I want to add a jack to the basement, and I have a 100 foot roll of 4 strand phone wire. Can I use it? If so, where can I find the color scheme for the addition, since the colors of the dark wires do not all match?

I have a wonderful bright red perennial hibiscus with 10 inch diameter flowers. After each flower dies, there is a large seed left in the flower pod. Can I start these in the house and plant out in late spring or should I plant them directly into the soil outside? If outside, should I plant them in fall or spring??

Ok,So I just got a venus flrytrap and I've wanted one for so long but am not 100% sure on how to take care of it.It came from walmart and is in a lil itty bitty pot and there are a good 15-20 traps. It came inside a plastic tube with a lid.It says to keep very moisturized. What I am most wondering about is,do you only feed the trap flys or can you feed it other bugs? Also where should I keep the plant, inside or in and if in..where to keep the moisture in? Also since it is so small and in a itty pot..can I repot in a bigger pot? How? Thankz guys..I've always relied on you guys to help me and Im really hoping you can help me here. :-)

I have a peace lily I was given 3 years ago. It has a lot of sentimental value to me. It started blooming great big blooms, and they've gotten smaller and smaller and now there are none. I have it in the place of the house it prefers (a bright bathroom) and I let it droop a little before I water it. I fertilize with houseplant fertilizer. What am I doing wrong?

Me and my mom went to Ikea, and we bought a Rubber Tree Plant, and a Lucky Bamboo.
I went onto the internet and found out how to care for them. My Rubber Tree Plant is doing great, but my mom's lucky bamboo seems to be dying.
There are 3 lucky bamboos. One of them has brown-yellow one part of the stem near the top. Some of the leaves are yellow. When you touch it it is almost like hollow. Is it dying?
I just changed the water today. She has it in water.
Is there anything I can do to help it?? Thank you!!
