I am looking for a ceramic or stone fire pit that will not rust. I also want to burn real wood. Do you know where I can find one?

Have you considered making one? You can purchase wall pavers for almost nothing at your local garden center. All you have to do is create a circular wall with the paver about 2 or 3 high, put some sand or gravel in the bottom of the pit and there you have it. Anyhow, it's just an idea. It's how I made mine and I love it. Also, if you want to grill on it all you have to do is go to the hardware store and purchase Grate metal mesh and cut it to fit. You could also use landscape stone and cement to build a fire pit. Just let you imagination run away and create your own.
Good Luck

We have a fire pit in our back yard. It is a hole in the ground and we put our yard trash in it to burn. (leaves, sticks, weeds)
We have cleared away all the vegetation from around the hole about 6 feet round, We have set logs down to sit on and it is great. Just like a campfire.Virtually free
