it depends on the mood you are trying to create and the color of the surrounding furniture. you want to tie in all the colors, but add an element of interest in the accent all. after you decide on a color tone, you can go to your local hardware store (home depot, lowes) to buy small paint samples. they look like small jars of baby food. go home and paint color swatches on the wall. examine the colors and see how the lighting in the area affects the shade.
there are a lot of easy and cost effective techniques to spruce up an accent wall. coating a dark shade w/ watered down mettalic makes a room look very elegant, but hard to pull off if your furniture is shabby.
i hope you find the shade that is right for you.

I'd use the same shade as the background for the throw pillows, for your one wall. Since the other walls are white, you will need a color that coordinates and is not too dark. Take your pillow to the paint store and they can get the paint color to match exactly to the pillow color. Good luck on your country bedroom theme!

Go to a paint website and they have rooms where you can click and add different colors to walls to see which one you like. Benjamin Moore is a good one

Depends on the room, your own liking of various colours etc. Choose a colour that will be light if it's a north facing room, ie NO blue tones.
Pick out the same colour in accessories etc.
