I live in an older home and the walls are plaster. Everytime I hang a picure or anything the nail pulls right back out. I've tried mollys and sticky tabs but nothing seems to work. Are there any really good sticky tabs or any other options? I appreciate it!

I am willing to do up to 2 hours of hard work. I would rather have a gas mower either way, and would also get a self-propelled push mower. The only thing is my husband thinks we need a riding mower and says a push mower would be too much work. But riding mowers are SO expensive! What should we get?

Ran like a charm last 2 days. Today used it a little, ran out of gas and now I can't get it to fire back up. Pulled plug and air filter & cleaned them both. Have spark at plug. Only difference when I ran out of gas today was that I was cutting horizontal, not vertical. Don't know if that makes a difference. Any suggestions? If not I'll have to take it in tomorrow. Thanks.

Im trying to re-design my garden but we are having really bad weather recently and its filled up the trenches i have dug for my new walls with rain. We have really bad drainage in the garden so its not draining away quickly. Can anyone suggest an inexpensive way to cover/protect the garden from the rain which would allow me to continue working in the garden at the same time?

My garden is 5m wide by 9m long (if that makes any difference?) I was going to nail polythene to the fences to cover the garden but i thought that might rip and blow away in the wind?! Any other ideas are most welcome! Thanks

My honda push mower has been conching out and it is really getting weak and I have replaced the spark plug and changed the oil and this didn't seem to help. The lawn mower blade was set to close to the ground while I was going over thick, tall, grass and the lawn mower had been acting up before any of this.

I have been seeing a giant woodpecker hanging around my yard and every day he gets closer to my house. This thing is about the same size of a small crow and won't go away. I don't like killing animals but want him gone, if he goes to work on my house he will do some big time damage. How do I scare him off with out hurting him. He looks really mean!

The dry wall behind the tiled shower wall got wet. This made the tiles loose and fall out. I can't do it right financially by replacing the dry wall and tile. What can I do to cover the exposed dry wall that will allow use of the shower. If I used heavy plastic is there a tape that would work?

Assuming the seller of the house knew there was a fire, and did not disclose it - is that fraud? If so, what is the recourse?

My concern is that we bought the house without knowing there was once a fire. But now that I know, I have to disclose it when I go to sell this house.

Now I am worried that this will make my house harder to sell or drop the value of the house.

Now, there doesn't seem to be any structural damage or smoke damage, as the fire was probably over 20 years ago (according to the inspector that came).

The owner lived there during that fire.

What do you think?

My decor is cabin-lodge style. It is a swag lamp with a plain white fabric over plastic shade.

Thanks for any ideas given!
