I've duct tapes all around my window. I don't think there is any way th bugs are coming through any cracks or anything. I saw one come right through the screen the other day. These bugs come through around evening time. They seem to be attracted to light. They are little tiny bugs that fly. They are really annoying. Does anyone else have this happen?

It doesn't appear that the stalks are eaten, just nibbled in two. There are what appears to be teeth marks higher up on the stalk. I have searched online with no answers, someone at a nursery said MAYBE a cutworm did it, but I can't find anywhere that says they eat cannas.

The argon gas has leaked from my double-pane window and caused some very unappealing white clouding. Is it possible to fix this, or will the whole window including frame need to be replaced?

Ants are raiding my driveway and soon I think they are going to find a way inside. I am a new homeowner so I've never had to deal with this problem before. What are some ways I can get rid of the ants? I'm not seeing any ant mounds unfortunately, they just seem to be coming out of the grass and walking in straight lines across my driveway.

Looked at replacing cabinets but the time, cost and frustrationg of a couple of months seems too negative and having to find a way to prepare meals, etc. Have to find someone to remove old cabinets since the place I like for new cabinets does not do anything put install new cabinets. Then replacing the counter. And finally having a plumber come to hook up gas stove, garbage disposal, and faucet.

Wonder about resurfacing or just replacing the cabinet fronts and staining, etc., the prime base of the cabinet.

We have an almost new kitchen table. It's one of those modern, metal tables with the thick glass top. The chairs are metal too with a really comfy cushion. (The plastic is still on them so, they have no stains.) How much do you think we'll get for it if we sell it? We just bought a new house and it doesn't go with anything.

The carpet around the toilet is wet. No water damage on the walls or ceiling. Also, we've had a peculiar smell coming from this bathroom for a month or so. The plumber thought the smell was from the p trap and he plunged it and poured some bleach down the drain. That helped (for the most part) with the smell, but now the area around the toilet (in the same bathroom) is soaking wet.

We used to have a problem with the A/C not draining properly and this would cause the same problem, but I checked the closet, and it's dry in there, so I don't think that's the problem. Any thoughts???

I went to the DIY shop and was sold a thing that looks like a dart. It does not shift the floor board nails in fact it imbeds itself into them.

Have I been sold the wrong thing?

First off, let me say that I know there are better (more expensive) flooring options and that installing new underlayment is always recommended. However, I want to avoid laying new plywood, so I have removed a layer of vinyl tiles and the original vinyl sheeting to expose the luan underlayment. It appears to be in good shape and has minimal residue on it. What would you recommend I put on this underlayment to help adhesion of the tile?

OK, my house was built as a summer bungalo in the thirties. The walls are plaster and are uninsulated. What is the negatives and positives of having insulation pumped into the walls without gutting the room, insulating it and sheetrocking and spackling the entire room?
